Re: Random Dart Stuff
Apparently Owen 'Master' Bates has to change his nickname because the PDC have to be a bunch of unpleasant prudes again.

Re: Random Dart Stuff
Cheers for that, they are interesting! Kleermaker has always been something of a streaky speedjobber, but this might go some way to explaining why he's failed to make the Worlds yet when he usually does so fairly comfortably. As for Landman, it seems as though he has until the last moment to commit to either the WDF or PDC, which I like, I remember Ratajski as the World Master had to reject his Lakey invite to go to the Eastern European qualifiers for the Worlds where he actually lost before getting shoehorned in at the last minute. Speaking of Poles, I wonder what Bialecki will do, he has enough about him that he could do well at Ally Pally, but he's one of the many in the field currently in the WDF that could go all the wayDeepFriedRat wrote: ↑Tue Nov 07, 2023 7:31 pm Interesting articles

Re: Random Dart Stuff
No. If the problem is that people at home are gonna hear a dirty word, why not just announce him as "'The Master', Owen Bates"?
That's how it's done for almost all players, apart from the one and only.
