Anthrax were decent. I caught them 2 days later in Cardiff, tiny venue and were absolutely immense. I love lamb of god and that sort of metal but I still have no idea what chase and status were doing there, at least the prodigy are edgy and a bit metal

I saw Anthrax twice in 1987. Third act on at Donington and then a couple of weeks later at a tiny little venue in Birmingham.

The black album is brilliant in itself and a classic but it marked the end of that stage unforytunately
