Re: Supermarket Offers and other Bargains.
Starting to think I'm getting the short end of the stick. None of these in FF this lunchtime, none of the dairy milk eggs, none of the fruit salad wafers. We got the twixes but thats about it!

Disappointing. I have been seeing the Terry orange truffs for ages but this extreme reduction is new.
I never even saw the price on the eggs as they had been wiped out inside a day. Vultures, I tell you.

The dairy milk little orange eggs are 49p by the way but it is a rather pitiful little product at about 70g. It's basically a vegetable at that weight.Rogg wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 3:31 pmDisappointing. I have been seeing the Terry orange truffs for ages but this extreme reduction is new.

Cans of Meantime London Lager are 69p each in Home Bargains. Usually hard to find, its better on tap though, but still decent given 4 cans of their product usually retail at £6.

Also a 950g box of Napolina spaghetti for 79p.
Various Napolina pasta sauces (jars) for 39p.
A pot noodle was 19p. Seemed purple, didn't examine.

Re: Supermarket Offers and other Bargains.
Purple pot noodles are doner kebabs flavour. Supermarkets got loads in and have had hell on shifting the stock. Thing is, they are decent, a spicy beefy taste. Reminds me of something my mum used to make with cheap beef ends she got from the butchers. They just don't take like doner kebab at all, not even when you douse it in the "Hot sauce" they give you.
I've got them for breakfast when travelling somewhere a bit out in the sticks for work as they were regularly being sold at supermarkets around the 75p price point. 19p is a bargain.

ff has 100g boxes of mint sticks, turkish delight and choc seashells. 3 for £1. They look a bit sorry for themselves.
ahh, found a pic. In sad news for walnut whirl fans, there was no sign of walnut whirls.

mmm I love a Guylian too. I have had seashells from lidl which obviously were far cheaper but they were very nice. These may be bascially the same thing. The Ginge Reaper wrote: ↑Thu Jun 15, 2023 2:04 pm I do love the Guylian seashells, may have to finally call in.
