E3 is an electronic games exhibition. Most of the major announcements from Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft are made here

The wife wanted a wii a couple years ago & I got her one for Christmas, she used it for 2 or 3 months & it now sits unplugged at the side of my DVD player

I'm with Sprocket on this one, chess is a game for intellectuals but video games are for kids

A lot of games are tactics based, others are very much adult in their content. In the past, it was very much a case that video games are just for kids but it's definitely not the case now.

Either way, I enjoy playing them occasionally and I see nothing wrong in that :) I also enjoy the odd game of chess :)

Grazer, I'm just messing about.

I do find it odd though when you seem people playing things like darts, snooker, tennis etc on consoles.

Why don't they just go out and play real darts, snooker and tennis?

Use the wii & the Xbox a fair amount. Both excellent entertainment for vastly different reasons.
