They should make Players Championship Finals 128 players with all the card holders there.

And bring back the UK Open qualifiers so card holders aren't guaranteed a place there.

Or maybe not.
You forgot about bringing back the red button.

Disagree and agree

UK Open Qualifiers had the beauty of counting towards three OOMs, like floor events and ETs, why not?

I think having a Tourcard should have some values

Qualifying for the UK Open is exactly that. The changes should/Could come from

1) Increase the field - have more then 160 to 192? - Start Thursday Night (More time etc)
2) Abolish the Riley's Qualifiers - Go via the ADC Route as they have 9 (Was 16) regions but importantly players in Scotland/Wales could play without travelling a long way
3) Or keep it the same but try and eliminate byes if TC's drop out add players from the Womens Series

Unpopular opinion but they are missing a trick. The November event at Butlins has the Youth event to fill the gap between semis and final.

On the Sunday yesterday you had Centre Stage (where boards 3-8 are) sat there totally unused. Easily could run a Womens UK Open in there on the Sunday afternoon, run it down to a final to be played in the gap between mens semis and finals.

Discuss.
Big changes on the way ! We've heard it before but it's different this time !!!! , I believe Bdo gonna grow x

Probanly have to cap it at 32 entries given you only had 6 boards and the need to do a random draw at the end of each round, just invite the top 32 in the womens rankings (or the top 32 who can be bothered to go to it)

Shouldn't the top 8 ladies just get in the normal open like the Development and challenge tours

Suppose thats an option, wouldnt solve the problem of what to do between 2nd semi final and the final though.

I've proposed something like that before. Same goes for Matchplay, Slam and WGP finals really, plenty of time to get a short match in there because when you get a 1 sided final it's a bummer.

No I'm not proposing to have a women's version of every major. Could go with youth or seniors or whatever the fuck. Just keep up the interest.

Its only an issue at the events where they play the semis and the final in the same session. Hanging around for 20 minutes makes for boring telly, plus it gives the winner of the 2nd semi final a decent break.

Plus you have all those rooms at Butlins on the Sunday sat empty.

Nobody suggest 3rd place games please, as no cunt gives a shite about those.

How about a 3rd place playoff?

More money to the player who finished 3rd.

Thoughts?

Putting the UK Open up against the Premier League. Perfect example of how fiddling with stuff for the sake of it creates problems.

The PL clearly needed fiddling with. UK Open is fine

How about they tie Gerwyn Price up on a chair in the middle of the stage and sell rotten fruit and veg and bricks to the crowd to throw at him.

Crap though they are, I think a mini 3rd place play-off would be better than absolutely nothing to fill the gap. Gawlas and Dimitri would have put on a fun show last night surely. The prospect of extra money should sweeten the deal for the more grumpy players who think the whole world is against them.
