Re: Fallon is in the Worlds
Are the apologists still pretending that if the Women's standings were reversed they would have given the "to be determined" place to Greaves? lol

Re: Fallon is in the Worlds
They obviously wouldn't have given it to Beau Greaves. Had they known what was going to happen though, they'd have certainly made the Women's World Matchplay winner, i.e. Fallon Sherrock, get a spot in the World Championship well in advance. At the time, it seemed a certainty that Sherrock would get the World Championship spot via the women's series anyway.

Stick with your boring factual posts PT. As this one is based on nothing factualPT13 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 27, 2022 10:15 pmThey obviously wouldn't have given it to Beau Greaves. No. It's a ramble based on assumptions

No, they get her B game, which is worse than their B games.tungsten tossers wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 6:32 pm "I don't get people's B games now, I get their A games": Sherrock on what has changed since landmark PDC World Darts Championship run

Hopefully she does the honorable thing and declines the invitation long before the tournament starts.

To back this up, here's the 2022 World Series opposition she faced, and what they both averaged:vizIIsto wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 6:33 pmNo, they get her B game, which is worse than their B games.tungsten tossers wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 6:32 pm "I don't get people's B games now, I get their A games": Sherrock on what has changed since landmark PDC World Darts Championship run

Averaged 71.44 in a 2-6 loss to Leonard Gates (87.83)
Averaged 80.13 in a 6-1 win to Darius Labanauskas (76.28)*, then averaged 89.00 in a 6-10 loss to Michael Smith (94.75)
Averaged 73.84 in a 1-6 loss to Maik Kuivenhoven (86.04)
Averaged 73.42 in a 3-6 loss to Gordon Mathers (79.64)*
Averaged 80.69 in a 6-5 win to Mal CUMMING (77.59)*, then a whitewash loss (81.54) to a rampant Gerwyn Price (109.98)
Averaged 82.44 in a 5-6 loss to Kayden Milne (79.07)*
4 players averaged below 80 and two of them still won. Labanauskas was a definite F game, and the other two losses were one-sided affairs.
And in this year's Grand Slam:
Took 1 leg off Peter Wright averaging 87.59
Took 1 leg off Nathan Aspinall averaging 93.92
Took 2 legs off Alan Soutar averaging 89.79
These aren't the best averages either although it may be lower than usual for playing against a shite darts player.
Edit: As a side note, even Glen Durrant averaged above 80 on the PC tour this year.

What is the point of this? Why not just support all the lady players. Beau Lisa and Fallon

Beau definitely has potential to become competitive.
Lisa is also much more of a solid player and she's also won a Tour Card in 2020.
I support these two. Not Fallon. The hype should've gone away by now.
