BDO Worlds 1995-99
PDC Worlds 2001-5, 2007, 2011-2014, 2023
Speaking of his shroomdays, his opponents from his lake finals have also qualified. Be bonkers if he gets to play Beaton or Barney in a 2023 Worlds.
Hope he draws Rock and dosen't win a leg

Huge run and he deserved the lucky draw after putting the travelling in
One win at Ally Pally should do it

Given his woeful record at Ally Pally, he may not get it.

Great amateur, below average pro.

Joyce and Jeff deserve spots imo for different reasons, idc about Ginge's hypothesis.

Joyce should've got the Sherrock spot and has been great on tv the past 3 months

Jeff travels more than anyone and, even if he's shite, he is still top 64 quality, just about.

Burnett was a fucking weird one but he pumped in that big average so he's playing alright atm

Burnett is a weirdo but I will not judge people negatively for using drugs recreationally

That could have gone a lot worse, which is usually the highest compliment available at this. Burnett and Jeff are both engaging in some way, good or bad.

I had no opinion on porker Joyce but Rat's unfathomable exuberance for this colourless nobody has made him almost fun! So that's fine too sort of.

Eh? On what basis?

They would have just lobbed the extra place at this event anyway.

Reformed
Half of the PDC top 32 will be, or will have, taken recreational drugs whilst on tour ffs, hardly a stick to beat Burnett alone with.
Even worse, headshaker cheated on that thing he married.

33rd on the PT OOM is the highest benchmark quality replacement they could've got in 2022

Reserves

1. David Evans
2. Jamie Clark
3. Nick Fullwell

Evans is first reserve for ANYONE at Ally Pally before a dart is thrown. If Xicheng Han gets visa issues, Evans. If Lice pulls out or Jo Wright implodes, Evans. And anyone in between.

Lice's dad should have pulled out

33rd on the PT OOM is the highest benchmark quality replacement they could've got in 2022
That wasnt in the initial blurb though. All spare places in previous years have merely gone to this final qualifier.
Unless you are saying it would have been fine to shoehorn Joyce in and not the winner of a womens event ImageImage

Agree with this. As you said earlier the main tour has 64 places + 2 qualifiers. There shouldn't be any more unless it's absolutely unavoidable. The system should be flexible enough to handle it. Oh and obviously the PDC shouldn't forget they had a spot left for months!

See normally I'd want Joyce shoehorned with a crane into any event but in this case, it's not even bias, the 33rd place should've got in when they ran out of ideas for the final spot.

It's all irrelevant now
