Bradders' Tips

Post by The Ginge Reaper » Wed Apr 04, 2012 12:56 pm

May as well start posting them on here. For the sake of clarity. One point = a fiver :D

My progress to date:

Running total:

Outlay: £212.50
Returns: £313.18

Profit - 47% (up 3%)

And todays tips. The first one has already come in and was posted elsewhere:

Cycling
- In about half an hours time, GB and Australia go head to head in the final of the Team Pursuit at the Worlds. Not very attractive odds for either as both are 5/6, however GB looked good this morning so TWO POINTS on them to win are the bet in a quick attempt to "double up".

Football - Real Madrid vs APOEL - absolutely no value in the match result or even with Nicosia on a 3 goals start! So number of goals in the match is the only real bet here, so 7/4 on over 4.5 goals is my bet, one point

Football - Chelsea v Benfica - this match will more than likely be the other way, with hardly any goals as Chelsea seek to defend their lead. And I like the look of the odds of 9/4 available on the "zero or one" number of goals in the match, so this is my bet. One point.

Todays bets:

Cycling - In about half an hours time, GB and Australia go head to head in the final of the Team Pursuit at the Worlds. Not very attractive odds for either as both are 5/6, however GB looked good this morning so TWO POINTS on them to win are the bet in a quick attempt to "double up". - WIN

Football - Real Madrid vs APOEL - absolutely no value in the match result or even with Nicosia on a 3 goals start! So number of goals in the match is the only real bet here, so 7/4 on over 4.5 goals is my bet, one point - WIN. Many, many goals in this one.

Football - Chelsea v Benfica - this match will more than likely be the other way, with hardly any goals as Chelsea seek to defend their lead. And I like the look of the odds of 9/4 available on the "zero or one" number of goals in the match, so this is my bet. One point. - LOSE - two late goals scuppered this one.
Yesterdays outlay: £20
Yesterdays returns: £32.08

Running total:

Outlay: £232.50
Returns: £345.26

Profit - 48%
(up 1%)

WIll post todays up before lunchtime.

Todays offerings from the alter of tips:

Darts - Whitlock v Anderson - Wade may have raped Whitlock last week however cant see Whitlock repeating the trick (if you can call it a trick) this week. Whitlock is 13/10 with Paddypower to win the match, worth a point of anyones money.

Football - Bilbao v Schalke - Bilbao are 4-2 up on aggregate and the tie is all but over unless Schalke can conjure up three goals. Cant see that happening and Bilbao are going to run away with it. They are 9/5 to win on the handicap (-1.0), again just one point.

Golf - Paddypower are paying out to Top 6 e/w at 1/4 odds. KJ Choi at 66/1 is my choice to win outright e/w for one point. As for the alternative markets, YE Yang is 3/1 to finish in the top 20 overall, given the top 20 can include ties this actually could translate as the top 25 or so. So have a point here too.

Like the Darts and Golf bet but wary about the soccer one.

I don't like betting the Asian Handicap on teams that don't need to win.

9 men behind the ball, guaranteed.

I know, I was being slighly faecious.

Just liked the look of Bilboa in their past few matches against Man U and Schalke, reckon they will put a few past them.

I do see your point, mind. As said though I have watched their past few matches and am willing to give them a chance of winning by two :D
