Beeb are so desperate to halt the decline that they are set to bring back both Russel T Davis and David Tennant. Back to 2006 it is.

I knew RTD2 but David Tennant? What the fuckity? I can't believe they are prepared to be witnessed being that desperate.

So the rumours suggest.

It makes Sunday night ratings nosedive after Countryfile and it got caned in the NYD ratings by Regional News.

New Who at its peak was arguably the biggest show on TV in the UK and a huge hit in the US. That was during the time of, yes, RTD and Tennant, and Billie Piper who was incredible at it. You can bet she'll be back too if the Tennant rumour is true.

William Hartnell being dead didn't stop them bringing back the first doctor so everything's on the table with this show.

Well, I say the first doctor. Hartnell isn't the first doctor anymore. The first doctor is a little black girl now. Unlucky Bill mate.

Oh Randy. You are in for an adventure.

Chibnall retconned a whole new set of first 7 Doctors. See these multi-racial heroes in the pic below. Girl on the left is the original. And the doctor is no longer from Gallifrey. She was rescued (by a woman) from some random place and taken there. This was the 'Timeless Child' season arc which nobody watched in 2020.

The episode which wrapped it all up was, honestly, barely even an episode of television. It was atrocious.

While Chibnall is ripping apart a 60 year-old show so that it satisfies his private race and gender activism needs he could at least remember to make some decent TV.
