If anyone fancies going for a dig, find us the times when previous World Final pairings occurred in later years in earlier rounds. What's the earliest round it's happened in?
2008 Martin Adams vs Phill Nixon (1st round)

Really hope so
Absolutely no reason they shouldn't be, not like there are curfew rules we have to abide by now!

If Lewis plays like what he did against Huybrechts, he should beat Campbell who isn't on particularly good form at all

Lewis has been shit at the worlds in the past few years. 2020 one he was actually a bit better. But it was only a few years ago he lost to Kevin Munch in the first round. Last year to Baggish. People he should’ve be smashing. I can see another 3-1 defeat coming his way.

Tbf he could also play like he has 80% of the year and lose

Stop mentioning Ted Hankey, it will upset Senna or something 🙂

Set play suits him as he tends to go through peaks in a game, he can get away with having a middle spell where he’s a bit shit, I think his section is overall decent and he has previous in the worlds where he’s had good runs aka semi finals, albeit he was coming in to them tournaments in better form than he is atm

I still don’t think he’s in bad form as such this year and I’m hoping it can click in for him at the right time

I'd be perfectly okay with Asp winning it. Much better than the shit cunts Roidy, Goblin or Clown.

Having said that I barely remember him doing anything this year
