Re: Darts articles in the Media thread
Can you expose something that everyone is already aware of? Clayton or anybody else outside of the elite winning both the Masters and the PL is an anomaly, no need to change the ranking system on the back of it.TheMalteseDart wrote: βTue Jun 01, 2021 7:15 pm

Ideally, other prizepools outside of the World's need a bump but with the pandemic and the looming sponsorships problems that is unlikely to I think the best solution is to either apply a 1.5x multiplier on all other ranking money or else dilute the World's prize money on the rankings to say 70%.

There was a first edition of this last year, I think it was played on Nakka. Dirk beat Waites in the final 15-12.Emulsfier wrote: βMon Jun 07, 2021 2:24 pm Anyone know what the hell this is?

Re: Darts articles in the Media thread
I think so. They probably use webcams but I don't know if how spectating works on Nakka. It's a pretty irrelevant thing anywayEmulsfier wrote: βMon Jun 07, 2021 2:43 pmSo just a watch the numbers tick by on the screen sort of thing? The Thorn wrote: βMon Jun 07, 2021 2:40 pmThere was a first edition of this last year, I think it was played on Nakka. It's just a random online event with no coverage. Dartsnews reported it but I just saw it on twitter a few times

Re: Darts articles in the Media thread
Colin Lloyd thinks they should increase the PL to 16 players which you may think sounds radical but as he stated he has thought about it for a while and has worked out the logistics that to balance out the 3 extra games per night they could play first to 5...
He seemed oblivious to the fact you'd need about an extra 3 months

Re: Darts articles in the Media thread
Why is it that any old turnip head thinks they possess the secret to making all things better?
Why not have 128 players in the Premier League and play 64 games of best of 1 dart?
