The end of the next batch of PL darts looks ripe to slot a Super Series in. It goes Wed-Fri in MK, so the following Sat-Tues for the tour seems possible, with the 8-man PL staying in a week-long bubble. Before leaving on the Tuesday night for 5 days before the PL finishes the week after.

Hopefully looking at maybe 3 or 4 more blocks squeezed in within May, June and start of July before the cut-off.
I can't remember who it was but possibly either Porter or Dawson state as fact that there won't be any Pro Tours in May, they described it as a "dry month other than PL"
CT or DT opening instead perhaps?
Possibly yeah.

July 10th cut-off.

8 Players Championships to come before that.

Clayton still not a seed, rofl. If he does crawl into them, he'll likely be #16...

16 would be decent. Potential Price game in R2 won't scare him. He hasn't threw a dart in months and has an awful Matchplay record since he beat the Snackpot (Clayton does too tbf)

It's a harsh draw for one of the seeds to get Clayton 1st round. It's a shame his 3 wins have all been non ranking but that's the way it goes

Every month is a “dry month” for Thorn.

Devon Petersen
Damon Heta
Dirk van Duijvenbode
Ross Smith
Luke Humphries
Callan Rydz
Madars Razma
Ryan Searle

All provisional debutants for the Matchplay. Strongly suspect Razma won't make it. Rydz and Searle are touch and go, rest are probably safe.

Notable and surprising players who aren't currently in spots...

Stephen Bunting
Jamie Hughes
Simon Whitlock
Chris Dobey
Steve Beaton
Adrian Lewis
Jeffrey de Zwaan

Mad arse wouldn't be a miss if he dropped out. Of those missing only Whitlock surprises me. His floor form must have been terrible without me noticing

Whilst I like beaton. I don't see him beating anybody (other than durrant) in the first round. Time for some new blood
