Reminds me of the League of Legends they had in 2008. Have to say that was one of the more enjoyable darts sights back then.

Re: World Senior Darts Championship
I would watch it the first go around. But depending on how the standard is; and I fully expect some really piss poor performances, wouldnt watch any thing but the semis and the finals in next years.
Dont expect a tour out of this too much of a money loser. Will be surprised if this last more than 4 years. Taylor Adams only draw. They will be done after 4 or 5 expect to fold after they go. The rest of the names are absolute shit and painful to watch.

I'll give you a longer price on Fordham being alive in Feb 2022 than Taylor winning it.

Re: World Senior Darts Championship
Bobby George, Andy Jenkins and a few others should be placed in the grim category.
Ted would be a fine addition. He was a top player in the early 2000s. He would also be one of the youngest in the field at 53/54.

Would current PDC tour card holders 50 and over be allowed to participate?

Re: World Senior Darts Championship
Fair enough, the grim category was reserved for the old BDO brigade. I quite like Hankey and his schtick for what it's worth. A lot better to watch than Fitton, Toplad etc anyway.sennafan24 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 4:27 pm Bobby George, Andy Jenkins and a few others should be placed in the grim category.

Re: World Senior Darts Championship
I actually think this event would create a bit of interest. I’d certainly watch it, especially if Ted is playing. The Ginge Reaper wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 4:45 pmNot if its anywhere near a camera.HalloweenJack wrote:Well played Senna.sennafan24 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 4:27 pm

Taylor would be a big favourite that’s for sure ( providing current PDC players aren’t eligible)

Re: World Senior Darts Championship
Which I just told you they wont be eligible. And highly unlikely they get permission. Bob Anderson had to effectively retire to play in the League of Legends on Setanta as the PDC refused permission
