Hughes is not playing for a while after his surgery, and Darren Penhall's father died apparently too, so I reckon there'll be at least 6 (next in line are Chas Barstow and Gino Vos I believe)

Reyes and Penhall are deffo out Penhall put on FB and Reyes's Management team have said he wont play First SS and UK open apparently

Heard Marijanovic isn't at the UK Open, so apparently Kurz is in as the next in line on the Development Tour. If Reyes isn't at the UK Open neither, then I guess Lee Lok-Yin would be next in line but it would be a bit of a trek from Hong Kong so it'd probably be Owen Roelofs

Ah yes, I remember Pipe was injured for the PDPA qualifier, what was it, a dislocated shoulder? Dunno the source, but they're all the kinds of players who have to deal with injuries/bereavements, or the kinds of players who in the past have been unwilling or unable to go the extra yard and turn up when there are any barriers in place, so I'd be surprised to see any of them. Some of that lot I can't criticise for not turning up now, although some of them have skipped plenty of events even before the pandemic, which kind of begs the question why they turned up to Q-School in the first place, maybe they shouldn't make entry to ET qualifiers dependent on entering Q-School

Fair enough Pipe. Also fair to Penhall, Hughes and Dimitri. Hope they take the time they need (and Dimitri's case a couple more weeks wouldn't kill him )

Where is Wesley Harms and why hasn't he broken his silence?

Unless he has a major underlying condition, I'm not sure what the problem is, given everyone else from Holland takes the risks. I feel he obviously never wanted to go to Q School in the first place. But then why wouldn't you do a Kando and hand it in?

Watching Harms makes me respect Kyle Anderson even more. Of course there could be something genuinely up with Harms in which there's a real reason behind his absence, which would make all of this is redundant.

Reyes strikes me more as someone who wants to play but is very unlucky to live where he is given how strict the restrictions are/have been in Tenerife compared to elsewhere.
