Reminded today that the 1921 census should be online soon.
I still have a few loose ends to tie up from 1911

Anyone else looked into this?

I’m good pal, been some good times revisited from the threads you are bumping.

Keep them coming, if only to fuck Bradders off.

I tracked my family back to 1841 via the census records pretty easily.
Once you go back before that it's more difficult
I found a lady on the 1911 census that's never been mentioned in the family so interested to see the 1921 census.
Sadly the 1941 census is lost forever

It doesn't matter how hard you look.... You are not related to John Lowe

I went astray on one line.
Tracked one family back all the way back to 1841 only to discover 2 couples with the same names had married in the same parish in the same year
Surname was pratt
Quite fitting

I did my tree after my last grandparent died and my mother said she didnt even know what her grandparents names were.
found out my dad had 8 aunts and uncles he knew nothing about, the 1921 census should fill in a few gaps.

it was the 1931 census destroyed during the war, but there was a 1939 one to set up rationing and conscription which is quite useful. you can see that one as it wasnt classed as a true census

Huns, Avars and Onogurs for us from ancient times, then Slavs and Swabians after the Mongol invasion in Europe.

As someone who had spent a long time looking up old hand written census from a century ago
The 2021 predominantly being online feels unromantic
