Yes. Murder to watch, that.

That's probably the first occurrence of the word OFFICIAL as a description for the properdarts. I prefer the cover version myself, the one that doesn't make me want to cut open all my veins with a spoon. Scum.

Other than his 7-1 spanking by Taylor in the wdt final that is my favourite moment of his career.

I remember John Part saying in a website interview that winning the 2003 World Championship was the greatest moment in his darts career, not only because of the huge achievement of beating Phil Taylor after Taylor had won the last 8 World Championships in a row, but also because it had laid to rest all the politics about 1994 and the fallout from the split.

The 1993 Embassy final between Lowe and Warriner was awful, too. They were both averaging in the high 70s for most of the match, way below their standard of previous matches, particularly Warriner.

What, no "professional"?

And I clearly haven't watched enough darts from that era - what the hell was George's walk-on with the candelabra all about?

Lowe and warriner didn't give a fuck that year, they knew they were off to the promised land, they were just going through the motions.

Gino Vos, 2009? http://www.dartsdatabase.co.uk/EventRes ... ntKey=2058

Vos played Loowis in the first round at Ally Pally 2013. He had a couple of darts to go up 2-1 in sets, if memory. Atrocious match.
