2023 PDC World Matchplay 15th-23rd July

Post by The real ssjsa » Thu May 11, 2023 9:46 pm

Looking forward to this year's Matchplay in what could be the most competitive ever with Price, Smith and Van Gerwen all playing well going into this year's event. Some shocks potentially when you look at the probable non seeds and don't think any of the top seedswould view drawing the likes of Ross Smith, Barney, Josh Rock or Ando as a good draw.

Last year's Matchplay was fantastic, a classic, with a proper winner.

Haven't got tickets Neil, but if I can get time off work then yes I am going to go to Blackpool.

Used to go every year from Friday through to Sunday. Missed for the first time in 2017 as we decided to go to Vegas for the US Darts Masters 2 weeks earlier than Blackpool. Have missed the Matchplay every year since but hopeful this will be the yearvI return to the Winter Gardens. How about you, have you got tickets?.

Yes, Dolan not being included would be a crying shame for the game of darts.

Lots of players in form, but the same players also quite capable of having a shocker at the minute
The format doesn't lend itself to outsiders
