But a lot of the time Williams struggles on TV.

You could argue he is getting to the peak of his career. Yes did well in BDO but PDC is a different league.

We haven't seen much of him on TV since he hit this rich vein of form

If he doesn't qualify for the Matchplay next month then it will reflect badly on him. If he's really as good as the hype suggests surely he would have qualified for it easily given he's 18 months into his PDC main tour career.

Not really. His first 2 year period hasn't even expired yet. Which is all about keeping your card. Meanwhile he's projected 41st after Ally Pally. Good going.

Duzza qualified for the Matchplay only 6 months after winning his card.

Josh Rock will easily qualify for the Matchplay this year 18 months after winning his card.

Pietreczko is closer to qualifying for the Matchplay than Williams and he won his card at the same time.

"41st after Ally Pally" hardly justifies the hype either. It would mean he hasn't played at a top 32 level during his PDC run.

More evidence as to what a player Duzza was

Duzza was a legitimate world class player, yes.

It means he will be able to attack top 32 once he starts qualifying for TV events more regularly

Which is his level

No need to compare to Rock or Duzza who are genuine major title contenders

You are assuming he be motivated enough to attend floor events (questionable) and not continue to play average darts on TV more often than not (even more questionable)

Could he crack the top 32? Sure. Is he top 10 material? No.
