Nostalgia is an extremely large part of the darts fan experience. I don't really know why. This isn't a comment on Bristow winning this game, by the way. I mean it very generally.

I met him and he was a complete prick but I've also heard the same about mvg. I do think his mind games against mvg would have led him to a win

Personal preferences and joking aside, my two cents:
In leg play, shorter format and earlier rounds its Baldfish all the way. His scoring power is unmatchable. At his best, only way to take his throw is by niner and winning your leg with twelve darts is a must.
With that said, Bristow is my pick in longer format, final rounds and set play. We all know he would make Bladfish cry.

Can you give an example of what 'crucified' looks like in darts, using two players whose careers did overlap? I'd just like to know what it looks like.
