2019 Grand Slam, fair enough, although in the Worlds final Gando was below par and Price's performance was more notable for his doubling than his scoring. Wright also also put in a Taylor-esque (or at least Taylor-lite) at the Euros last year too, I definitely have him over Price nowPT13 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 25, 2021 10:36 pmPrice had the highest World Championship set average in history in this year's final against Anderson. Blitzed Wright in the 2019 Grand Slam final with the sort of performance that Wright did against van Gerwen. I can imagine more banter between them after this week.

Both are capable of the highest standard of darts. Wright is a great role model for overcoming mental demons, and more consistent than Price when the mental demons aren't there. Price just seems a more professional guy all round, but sometimes lacks consistency, but he can get on a mental roll sometimes, like late 2020 to the 2021 World Championship. Wright is more experienced at darts and that's in his favour, but Price does have those long years of sporting competitiveness behind him also.thegentle wrote: ↑Sun Jul 25, 2021 10:49 pm2019 Grand Slam, fair enough, although in the Worlds final Gando was below par and Price's performance was more notable for his doubling than his scoring. Wright has won this week, so naturally people are talking him up right now, and deservedly so after his performances, particularly the semi final where he gave van Gerwen a taste of what van Gerwen had dished out to Wright for so long.

Price has yet to push a player after a game or walk off stage during a game, unlike someone else.

Been playing for 7 year now and still acts like he did since day 1 if not worse I've never seen him praise an opponent it's always someone else's fault or he was shit.

Pretty sure with Gurney in PL he pushed Gurneys arms away mind. Same with GandoHalloweenJack wrote: ↑Sun Jul 25, 2021 11:25 pmPrice has yet to grab hold of a player or walk off stage during a game, unlike someone else.

It was an old school match, that's all. In the final against Anderson, it was Anderson who walked into the exclusion zone and shoved Price.

I’m talking with intent. Regarding the incident with Gurney, Price did nothing wrong at all, that was initiated by Gurney and to this day I still don’t know what caused that.Safc wrote: ↑Sun Jul 25, 2021 11:29 pmPretty sure with Gurney in PL he pushed Gurneys arms away mind. After Price screamed right in his face and wouldn’t take his darts about the board.
