That's too long for the first couple rounds. Best of 5 is pretty much the same length as the PL final. And these are old cunts in a prelim

Yes, best of 3 sets would have been plenty I think, as a viewer that is.

The piss palace prelims proved how much hard work best of 5 can be when the players are struggling. 25 legs possible... could take a while!
