Why does that even matter, he is clearly a fan favourite and thats what this event is mostly about isnt it?

Think every person watching was willing that D12 in a few years ago when he was on the nine darter. Were it Kevin Painter no cunt would give a toss.

I was gutted when he missed that 9 darter. I like Paul Lim and I really hope he does well, it’s just the list that was put up had more deserving participants in my opinion.

Out of interest, why hasn’t Bobby George been given an invite? He was popular in darts original golden age.

He has, kinda. He clearly doesnt play anymore, he is one of the event "ambassadors".

Senna has just deleted his post asking what Mike Gregory and Stefan Lord had done to warrant a place.

Both more than Paul Lim.
Off the top of my head, Gregory was runner up in the worlds and the masters.
Lord was twice winner of the NOTW event which back then was probably the third biggest event in darts.
You seem fixated by me mentioning Gregory as a possible participant.

Mike Gregory is the only player I’ve ever seen throw the way he does, I kind of do a similar thing unintentionally where I point my dart high in the air like that, does anyone know anyone else who throws like Gregory? It’s a weird throw reliant on timing but I quite like the uniqueness of it
