The woes of the Covidiot Glen Dullard

Post by Emulsfier » Tue Mar 16, 2021 6:36 pm

Today Glenda was swept aside by Alan Soutar.

Poor poor Duzza.
Boring Brendas number one and (almost) only fan.

Smithys number one and (definitely not) only hater.

I think his charmed run last summer created unrealistic expectations for him. He's a very good player, but not among the very elite.

If he is still suffering from COVID and eventually fully recovers, I can see him winning floor events and perhaps another TV event, but I think his career ultimately peaked last year when he won the PL. I don't think he'll be fortunate enough to win a major event like that again.

Maybe he could have dragged Taylor down, we will never know.

Somewhere between 16 and 20 is probably where he fits in....

I'd have him a bit higher than that.

But not in the top 5 like some had him last year.
