Do you think the Champions League will happen this year?
Does it matter. It's a nothing tournament anyway
Was a decent watch when it was in Cardiff. I watched it live both years.
Were you Gerwyn Price’s stand in, during the pre filming?
 No I’m too tall for that :D
Which sessions did you go to when you went?

I’ve been to all the CL tournaments, so I hope it does happen this year. Even if it’s in Leicester again. 😂

First year Sunday afternoon. Second year Sunday afternoon and evening. Was weird going to afternoon then not the evening session first year..

What about you? You could pop in and look in on Randy. He’d be like ‘Oche! What you doing here?

Did all but the Sunday afternoon session when they had it in Brighton.

And did the afternoon and evening sessions in Leicester

I’m not sure I took any pictures, haha.
But we were also on tables each session.

Getting a drink was a complete joke, though.

We got there later for one of the evening sessions and Chizzy and Anderson had just started. 2 of mates went to get drinks and they missed the entire match waiting in the queue.

Did you try and fist bump Barney?

Yeah only do tables. I got 2 pints each time only went up twice each session when it was quite. I went with my brother and nephew one year, drove down so was on soft drinks.

Nah don’t do all that, same with autographs. :D

The venue is pretty good. Even if you were in the stands, you were still reasonably close, as the arena is quite compact.
Just the refreshments situation was a bit of a joke.
No issues in Brighton or Leicester, haha.

We got the Megabus the first time. (never again)
And my Brother drove the second time.

I am hoping to get to the worlds this year. I’ve done the PL several times in Sheffield and should have gone to the grand slam a couple of years ago but sadly couldn’t make it.

I don't even know if it's contracted to happen in 2021. Anyone?
Cannot find anything on PDC calendar...
This is what Wikipedia has...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Champions_League_of_Darts
I don't recall the BBC deal being extended past the fourth edition (2019) and can't find anything about it. Yet the event was definitely on the PDC calendar for 2020 so it clearly was. I suspect we'll see it again at some point.

Is this the largest number of different winners of TV events in a calender year?
11 premier singles titles, 8 different current holders. It must be a record, although it has been trending in this direction in recent years.

Compared to when MVG won the 2017 Worlds (v Anderson in the final) where he held 10 of 11 and Taylor had the Champions League. A world ago.

Astonishing, and the only one he didn't hold was arguably the most tinpot of the lot!
