At the 2005 Masters of Darts, when Tony David beat him 4-2 in sets. It was embarrassing as well, especially as David was sitting right there next to him at the time, having outplayed Mardle on the day. Mardle had similar rants after his other matches, against Stompe and Barneveld, but not as bad as the one against David. The Barneveld match was close.


After losing a match, it was very ‘professional’ of him to conduct an interview 😂
