Could only have been nerves from Taylor. If he wants to be top 4 he must start faster. Not everyone will be as erratic as Chizzy who still managed the most 180s of the night.

well it wont get much lower if hes not playing much , personally id like to see him win the matchplay or gsod

As said though, he is the biggest ticket seller in darts. I like Barney, but the reaction he gets at the PL shrinks every year. Taylor always gets a hero's welcome in Manchester. MVG seems to be the man of the moment with casual fans.
The PL this year sold on the back of Taylor and MVG in my opinion. Whether ticket sales would remain strong if Taylor retired remains to be seen.
One year I went the PL, people left in droves after Taylor's game finished. Lewis vs Whitlock was played before around 50-60% of the crowd. Last year, barely anyone left when Taylor was playing last.
