I had a lot of clues here which look very blatant. It's a very good ep, highly distinctive.

Do you know about swim and cheese now?

Swim could have been several
Cassidy swam back after disposing of the ladies body
Cheese I assume was consumed at the restaurant or her house
Sure there was cheese in the portrait one as well
Mail was a dead giveaway, it sunk him in Columbo's eyes

The mail was a properly great clue in the story. It seemed like nothing to me so Columbo's intelligence came across beautifully. Or my gormlessness, either. Very good.

Swim is correct. Cheese is where Columbo himself was making an omelette for the victim's wife in her kitchen. Cracking eggs, grating cheese etc.

Hard to imagine Columbo cooking for somebody as the series rolls along. His character was still settling in at this point.

He's acting incredibly stupid to Cassidy from the off. It's hilarious. Possibly the most consistently dumb that he ever pretended to be.

The stuff between Cassidy and that woman from the store. The weird close-ups on their faces are grotesque, it's so good. It's Spielberg directing intit?

I'm not sure which

I thought I saw his name and he did indeed do this one. Spielberg directed a Columbo. There's a fun fact.

Were those woman's teeth are real?

23 films is one-third of the collection so it seems a neat point to call that a whole game.

Plus I can't fit anymore on a single view of the spreadsheet, rofl. All in all, that seems like a good go.

Your average is a splendid 3.14 without that. What a mess that one was.

I think you did great. A quick look through the 80 clues now, they're already beginning to look like gibberish to me and that's after a fairly fresh viewing. I've seen each film twice, three years apart. You must have hammered them.

Although, even before watching it recently I may have beaten you on Short Fuse. I wouldn't have remembered the actual name of the film though so never mind. 'Altitude' looks very useful and that's a scene I remembered well, up in the cable car thingy.

The murderer, him on the right there, wrongly thinks the cigar case is a (his) bomb. Columbo is about to open it for lols...

If he says don't open it, he'll be admitting to murder.
If he says nothing... goodbye cable car.

The choices that you get for being a cunt.
