Carried on to a point in the 5 doctors
It is. They became great mates, but had some trouble filming together by all accounts. Pertwee was so precise about everything and relied on the other actors' words as cues, but Pat always half-made up his own lines which threw Jon completely. Very, very different styles but it all works out. I don't like to think about how many times I've watched it.

Something else about The Three Doctors is that it expands on the very little we know so far about the Doctor's race.

You know the Davison era better than I do but yes Omega definitely turns up in it somewhere.

1. The Power of the Daleks

I've never seen it. Bear with me. All six parts are missing from the archive. What remains are telesnaps, the soundtrack and a few short clips.

The story picks up from the previous week, where the Doctor slumped to the Tardis floor and his face changed. 'Regeneration' is a thing now but it wasn't then. No-one has a clue if the idea to change the lead actor will work so the stakes are extremely high, making it all the more amazing that this story offers no reassurances at all that some weird, distant little man played by Troughton is even the Doctor. Add a very fresh take on the daleks, which are unarmed and serving tea while plotting a massacre and this is utterly absorbing stuff. The soundtrack is fantastic. The holy grail of lost TV. Some people are alive who have seen it, back in 1966. They are tossers.

Good, rofl. It was broadcast four months after England won the World Cup, winter of 66. I'll find the clips.
