I love it so much until Sarah Jane leaves in 76. Many fun curiosities arrive later on but it's not my show anymore. I don't actually like Tom.
I like the early tom stuff
Became a parody of himself as it went on

Indeed yes. When it's still Pertwee's show, I'm ok with Tom. But once the joyous Sarah Jane/UNIT connection breaks, it breaks.

Lol. She is hilariously open and funny in her views on Tom and their disaster of a relationship.

On the other hand, there's City of Death where they're in Paris and in love. It didn't last. Putting it mildly.

Rogg wrote: Wed Sep 16, 2020 1:35 pm Ah right. I've seen almost everything (definitely everything of Doctors 1-4) but in your seven stories so far you've managed to pick two (Timelash and The Awakening) which I've never seen or barely seen. Rofl.

I wonder if you'll have any black and white ones.
Did I pick the awakening?
Sorry no, The Visitation I meant.
I do like the awakening though.
Another historical tale
I intend to watch The Awakening very soon as it's a nice little 2-parter. More than likely I've seen it once before, on Gold about 20 years ago...

Surprised the trainwreck is still going tbh. The showrunner cant tell his arse from his elbow.
Boring Brendas number one and (almost) only fan.

Smithys number one and (definitely not) only hater.

That doesn't sound tiresome in the slightest. Looking forward to it.

But when you consider the hysteria that surrounded the Doctor becoming female, the actual stories on screen seem to have made next to nothing of the fact. I don't think the showrunner would even be capable. It just feels like some hunting for attention by a wilting show. It's all very lethargic.

Showrunner doesn't have two brain cells to rub together.

A 7-episode serial, only one of which survives in the archive. This story will be animated next year supposedly but for now it's best experienced through its original soundtrack. Victoria's first story. Pat and Jamie well in the zone by now as they turn up in Victorian England where some suspiciously accomplished antiques dealer has been experimenting with time. He has turned up one item that he really didn't want: a dalek. Troughton's anxiety throughout is incredible, looking genuinely terrified as he turns around slowly to see that a dalek has rolled up behind him. One hell of a monster reveal in what was intended as the final dalek story. Any luck?
I read that this story is getting released in animation form in September. Only episode 2 (of 7) is known to exist.
