Thunderball - 7.5/10
Not seen it for years.
Don't remember the climatic underwater scene at the end being so boring and long.
Some of the effects are atrocious as well but were probably "groundbreaking" for the 60's.
Also features a very rapey Bond at the health clinic.
The woman asks him to put his arms up so she can perform a check up. He wraps his arms around her waist and starts kissing her.
Very 60's, very Harvey Weinstein.

Don't think he was in it. Hard to tell though with all the makeup those orcs wear.

Diamonds are Forever - 7.5/10
Connery's last (official) outing as Bond.
Some great action sequences.
The car chase on Fremont Street in Las Vegas being one of them.
Enjoyed the characters of Mr Wynt and Mr Kidd.
Plenty O'Toole (groan) and Tiffany Case were annoying.
Much like the bird that died the other week from A View to a Kill.

Brosnan is my favourite, as he's the one I grew up watching as a kid.Wolflanternbumbag wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 10:22 amBest BondJimmi wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 10:53 am Diamonds are Forever - 7.5/10

But Connery is still the best.
And likely always will be.

Don’t think they made many when I was a growing up. Was always the old ones repeated on TV. Connery, Moore and then Brosnan.Jimmi wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 10:36 amBrosnan is my favourite, as he's the one I grew up watching as a kid.Wolflanternbumbag wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 10:22 amBest BondJimmi wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 10:53 am Diamonds are Forever - 7.5/10

The only Brosnan one that I outright do not like is "Die Another Day"

My all time favourite of the series as well.
Tomorrow Never Dies is good but I was reading the other day, that the whole production was a nightmare. So the film could have been great.
The World is Not Enough is his middle ground film.
Not terrible but above average.
Die Another Day is gash.
Casino Royale is still Craig's best film.

Maybe once round my mate's house.
Never had an N64.
PS1 instead.
Quantum of Solace is boring.
Only seen it once because of that.
Great game on the Xbox 360, though.
