what brand is that, R?
Sainsbury's own brand I think
Some of the big name brands are insanely expensive. Like a stumpy little tub for a fiver or something. How nice can it actually be? I'm not into sweet pudding stuff anyway but still.
I only buy the tubs when they are on offer... £5 for a 500ml tub is insane
Yep. The best pudding revelation in this thread is still that double cream you had, ha.

I'll be making chocolate truffles some time soon. Butter, double cream and extremely dark choc melted together, left in the fridge for a few hours and then rolled into balls and rolled in cocoa powder. Pop them into cake cases and keep them in the fridge. Very satisfying.
sounds divine

#RoggsRecipes :D

100g of chocolate + 100ml of double cream, plus a thick slice of butter. That's it. Roll them when chilled in cocoa/nuts/coconut. The mixture will melt in your hands so it's quite messy. Then keep them in the fridge.

If you go very dark on the chocolate like I do, say 85%, there'll be next to no sugar in them too which is a bonus.
