Carlsen even didn't go for your cute line which an easy one to calculate
even if Carlsen broke Kasparov's record he will never be remembered as him with this chicken chess
chess is not just memorizing lines and sticking to them

fingers crossed, annand had used the same opening almost all the time, you'd think running into carlsens wall all the time he would change it.

Threatens Rh4 and mate to follow but then inexplicably blocked the check with his Knight allowing the new Queen to go to e1 and cover h4. Astonishing.
