I've been sitting on 85-89 consistently with strong finishes, but I matched up a strong start today.

Chuffed.

Frog will now batter me 10-0 in sets without me throwing at a double.

Nah, he thrives on that. If he played more competitive darts, he'd be better. He knows this.

Happy enough.

That's decent for a first effort.

I wouldn't go that far.

Someone posted a 54 (MH I think) so that was my benchmark...

Well, I normally hit around 80 odd, so mid 60s first effort really isn't that bad. Just a case of building on it every time.

Just hit 72, including 4 tons and 2 140s, but far too many 5s. Best so far though, progress being made.

Finally did it!!!!

100 on the nose!

Wasn't counting on the way, as when it's going well the pressure kicks in. Last throw (single dart) was a T20 which took me to the 100. 6 tons and a 140, and, astonishingly, no blobs and no hitting tops.

Happy boy.

I practiced like mad leading up to my last meeting with Andy and felt good about my game but the game disappeared when it mattered. This time the plan is no practice and see if it's any different.
