PDC European Tour / Championship 2021

Post by Emulsfier » Thu Jun 17, 2021 7:36 pm

With the close of series 4 the seeds for the first ETs are set.

Qualifiers on the day after series 5 ends. The highest ranked on the pro tour who have missed the boat and have to qualify are:

Rob Cross
Dave Chisnall
Daryl Gurney
Ian White
Gabriel Clemens
Luke Humphries

And of course not forgetting the further down the table:

Mervyn King
Simon Whitlock
Adrian Lewis
Dimitri van den Bergh
Raymond van Barneveld
Glen Durrant (good luck with that mate)

It should make a wonderfully horrific qualifier once half of these dont make it while Joe Murnan and Peter Jaques do.

Seedings:

1) Joe Cullen
16) Nathan Aspinall

8) James Wade
9) Devon Petersen

4) Michael van Gerwen
13) Danny Noppert

5)Gerwyn Price
12)Damon Heta

--‐--------

2) Jose de Sousa
15) Mensur Suljovic

7) Jonny Clayton
10) Krzysztof Ratajski

3) Peter Wright
14) Brendan Dolan

6) Michael Smith
11) Dirk van Duijvenbode

I'd eat my socks if Cross doesnt qualify for both. Looks in good nick now. The others though could very easily kack it up.

He's had good runs before then reverted to his usual low-90s average self.

Gurney is dead meat. He's been pretty awful for nearly 2 years now since that Matchplay SF. Did well at the last Worlds of course but that seems like an anomaly now.

I reckon as soon as Suljovic drops out of the top 16, he packs it in and becomes a "dangerous floater" again

Petersen also is fucked once his 25k goes off might I add. Unless he does well at the Matchplay

This is also part of Mabby’s vocabulary.

100%. He's gonna drop like a stone down the ProTour oom in October. Go from top 16 to maybe not even a floor seed
