Whilst it hasn’t happened to me yet.

I dread the day where I call a Trans person “mate” or “Sir” or “Madam” and they turn around and get offended because I used the wrong term to address them.

It happened to me in McD's...

The person serving me had a beard ffs....took my order and said to me "it will be a couple of minutes"
to which I replied "ok, cheers mate"

The person turned away mumbling about not being "mate" and he/she was wearing a fucking skirt, which I could not see when
my order was taken as he/she as very close to the counter...

He/she didn't make too much of an issue of it, I just got my food lobbed at me

I don't have an issue with anyone and how they live their lives and how wish to be addressed, but if you are a male wishing to live as a woman,and you have a beard, you are going to mis-gendered from time to time
