I find Glen quite funny and entertaining.

After looking at these events I might have a crack at some next time around or a couple before the end of this series to get a feel for them.

DBG vs Singleton would be box office.

Arrived Erdington bang on the 7:30pm deadline. Ditched the water and went mad with a whole pint of Guinness and black. Played ok in parts but still battling against myself to throw the damned things. Threw some lovely darts in my final group match against the group winner, including a long overdue first 180 in the ADC. Nicely poised at 1-1 when the back flare ups kicked in. Oh well, it's something I have to deal with. Also picked up strains on my forearm and on the top of my hand between my knuckles and wrist. There's 7 places still available for Coventry tonight. If I'm ok I'll go. Otherwise I'll rest up ahead of the weekend. Is there a Doctor on the forum?
Friday 19th May 2023 - Finally free of the bull shitting no mark of a dart player.

Suspect team: CT1 Filip Sebesta - Greg Ritchie - Jeroen Mioch - CT2 Sean Fisher - Charlie Martin - CT3 Owen Bates - CT4 Thibault Tricole

I'm still finding my way back in. Not too bothered about results in the round robin format, it's more about retraining my brain to be at ease in tournament darts. I have a chuck with my daughter and that's it. My only opponent is whoever I draw in comps.

With only 2 spaces remaining for Cov tonight I registered. The back of my hand is inflamed and aggravating but I'll see how the darts go. Been told no ibuprofen only paracetamol. Extra extra balm oil it is then.

Muffin man is playing tonight as is Courtney. She's a cracking prospect.

I can certainly relate to the hand issue, Mine gets really bad in colder weather and im often left with a kind of dull pain in it but I found that Deep Heat helps but I have to be careful as when I use it often it causes me skin irritation, Even now sat at home with the heating on the back of my hand is purple.

I might try a couple of events nearer to the end of these round robins, Most likely Weston Super Mare and if I can get into it and have the time to go every week then will likely have a crack at the next lot at one of the venues.
