I think Stelling leaves in May too, said last year this would be his last.

When I now have the option of, you know, actually watching a game of football, its a no brainer.

I think darts lost something when they started showing Lakeside sessions live. It was better when you had to wait to watch highlights on BBC 2 late at night or follow via teletext.

Hee. There is simply nothing to be said in favour of the world final being shown only as highlights at midnight and never to be seen again for decades. That is objectively crap.

I think what happenes is that our brains are so fried by limitless entertainment options at this point that we actually crave less on some level, so these things seem quite nice. We want things to seem precious again like they used to. Nevertheless, the coverage was utter shit.
