An old favourite. 23k, hmm...

Treasurer of Lancashire Darts Organisation stole £23k to fund her addiction to fruit machines
Irene Muggins gambled the cash away and left the darts organisation with just £1k in its coffers

She's probably taking over from Des.

One of the finer gifts delivered down the years by unregulated darts. Can't fault her.

Ashton has an exemption for next year.
Can she play both sides of the fence?

I don't see any tour card holder getting that kind of invitation from the BDO, whatever the rules may say. It's good news for some of the ladies...

Though maybe just maybe Barry's stance on the WDF will be different if they don't try to rival them like the BDO comically did, especially when it comes to the ladies

Oh if it's a WDF affair with PDC endorsement, we're in a different world together. A far less amusing one, I fear.

Indeed, we need the BDO to survive to prolong the endless years of entertainment

Have to say, 6 was more than I was expecting, I honestly wouldn't have been surprised if none of them made it. The Dutchies I think will do fine, Hamilton I'd be very surprised if he does anything of any significance, Waites and Kenny are unknowns imo

It's one of the last bastions of the meat raffle and how can we all live in a world without them?

I honestly think Harms and Kenny will do fuck all. You can imagine Waites having the odd run, but he'll have to do something to get him into those events in the first place- which will be the difficulty. Hamilton will need good early results, or else he'll quickly fade away once he starts to believe he can't get his old form back.

I'd make all five of the men reasonable favs to keep their card and Ashton close to a 50/50.

When I have seen Kenny play, admittedly not often as BDO aren't on TV that much, he's been dog shit. Maybe he is better than I've seen of him, but I wouldn't expect to keep a card from what I've seen.

He is inconsistent due to his action but is only 26 and i would say will definitely go up a level playing against better players.

Kenny has a long history on the Development Tour, going back so far that he played MVG on it when it was called something else. Kenny won two events, nothing spectacular. He was no Dean Reynolds, ahem. Funny seeing some of the names.

Bout time he went back to the PDC really. This was his first Q-School and he was fantastic at the crunch yesterday. Interesting to see what happens to him.

Not being Dean Reynolds doesn't make him any good. Or was this when Dean Reynolds looked like he might be good?
