The most telling statistics were the 75 average against the guy that blew him away and gave him no more than one dart at double the whole game and the 68 against the guy who didn't get a dart at double against him.

75 in scoring visits wouldn't even get you to the latter stages of any pub open I've ever been to, let alone the PDC.

and let's not forget he claims to have taken months out of imaginary work to prepare for this event.

Myth busted, he's shite.

And he could have had £150 from me and Oche, lest we forget. Turned it down because he is an absolute fucking numpty.

He couldn't front the cash. Q-School will have cleaned him out.

Skinted himself to barely average 70 across the event and win a couple of games against guys even more hopeless than him. Insanity.

Pretty new to the forum and have loved catching up on this genius thread.

Was like the end of part one of a Netflix documentary when the twist was revealed - he actually went! What a daft, deluded cock. £150 spurned to believe you have played someone like a fiddle.

Poor cunt will be working overtime at his part employed/part self employed imaginary carpet factory for months to recover the cash he pissed up the wall on this pipe dream.

I always said he was a fucking shit pub plodder with ideas massively above his station and was proven right with 6 miserable games where he couldn't muster a single average above 75. The highlight for me though was the leg he won in 32 darts. Thirty two fucking darts and he goes around spouting off about back to back 12's, next to no sub-ton scores in entire matches and ton plus finish after ton plus finish.

Thanks for the memories Dave. Hopefully this time next year I can come back on here and we can do it all again.

To be fair he delivered exactly what his Riley's results suggested. Consistent low 70s average, and good enough to rack up a few wins against people completely out of their depth.

I thought the absolute best he could do was get a win against a "name" player who was either completely washed-up, or having an absolute stinker, which he had a smidgeon of a chance of doing against Bowles.

Genuinely, he played a lot better than I thought he would. And has improved a lot since I last saw him play. When he was giving it the largest I'd be surprised if he was averaging 60+ at any point.

If he keeps up the same rate of progression he might break an 80 average by the time he idraws his pension.

Got knocked out in round 1 of both CT events today. Averaged in the mid 70s in both outings.

I don't understand all the negativity about this guy. Good on him for having the guts and determination to give Q School and the Challenge Tour a go. Credit to him for winning a couple of games, he was far from the worst player to enter Q School this year. The experience of playing higher calibre players than he would encounter in his local league can only be beneficial to his game. I would have thought consistent 70+ averages were better than the majority of his armchair critics could manage?
