Last year's qualifier Anastasia Dobromyslova will join reigning Women's World Champion Suzuki in the field for the Rest of the World Qualifier in Hildesheim on Saturday.

"I have entered the qualifier," said Suzuki. "Hopefully I can make it this year, that would be massive for me. It has been an amazing year."

Four-time Women's World Champion Ashton, meanwhile, will be joined by daughters Danielle and Lindsay at the UK & Ireland Qualifier, alongside leading players including Lorraine Winstanley, Deta Hedman, Fallon Sherrock and Laura Turner.
Des can't rig the draw to get her seeded so there's no chance of Bo entering. ;)
Other Beu too young to enter i assume?
Yes, she only turned 15 at the start of this year

There were rumours he might activate a Portugese passport to join de Sousa in the World Cup but I don't see him giving up this yearly meal ticket.

That would be a fairly tasty team tbf, de Sousa deserves a half decent partner. But yeah, ain't gonna happen

As a result of Rab's exit from the Grand Slam, Ryan Meikle is guaranteed to be a ProTour qualifier, so therefore Ciaran Teehan will be there via the Development Tour. Mansell will join them as long as Schindler loses in Germany and wins the Players Championship Finals, or Devon Petersen wins in Minehead and Ricky Evans loses in the first round

Glad that got confirmed at last regarding Teehan. Means it's the most ROI players at a PDC Worlds with 4 (O'Connor, Lennon, Barry & Teehan). Curiously last year saw NI also set their own record with 4 (Gurney, Dolan, Mansell & Burness).

I've no idea who would be next in line for Portugal, maybe de Sousa could be persuaded to represent Spain like he has in the WDF.

I'm sure Portugal will be there, and I'm sure they'll be able to find someone who's not completely embarrassing for them, a soft-tipper of minor renown perhaps

Only 51 entries listed, is this the final number? Was 82 last year.

Notable players are Suzuki, Dobromyslova, Hammond, De Graaf. Also Karolina Podgorska, Stefanie Lueck, Kasumi Sato, Anca Zijlstra, Momo Zhou (Chinese lady at last year's World Cup), Dana Verhaegen (Kim's wife) and Silvia Dolores Keller (last year's finalist).

Only 38 in the draw. Did the novelty lads get the idea last year that they're simply shite? Free entry and an open draw tho.

Suzuki, AndDob and Hammond are all in the same half.

Never heard of anyone in the third quarter of the draw.

Starts 11am UK time by the looks.

Cadby back for the Worlds qualifiers. Seems like it had nothing to do with his visa issues this time.

There's a last 64 match which seems to have been played in the wrong format. Best of 9 legs and you win 6-2. Wtf.

Good news. His court date is this Wednesday, he must be confident it will be sorted then.

Maybe next year he can stay in the UK rather than hang around Melbourne with his dropkick mates and driving without his license.

Dobromyslova is 5-3 up in her game. Hammond leads 4-2 but the game is going on. What the actual fuck. All completed games so far were best of 7 apart from that one that was best of 11.
