He'll be at the Grand Slam as the UK Open runner-up (assuming his visa application gets approved).
That's a big assumption if he can't even get into New Zealand.
Oh definitely.

It's a worse situation than when Kyle couldn't get a visa a few years back and missed the Worlds; he was at least able to play the World Grand Prix and the Euros because he had his passport. Cadby is screwed.
2020 World Grand Prix Lucky Dip winner!
2x 2019 Q-School Lucky Dip winner!

Both as valuable as the Lakeside piss pot!

I suppose at least for the Grand Slam and the Worlds he could just come on a short term visa, maybe even a tourist one of need be

Kando problem was I believe he was here on a temporary visa of some sort and he wanted to change to the one that sportsmen use something like a Tier 2 or 5 or something which requires the governing body of your sport to provide a letter. I believe he would have had to have a letter from the PDC as well. The PDC letter probably wasn't a problem as they clearly run the events he was participating in. The governing body letter was the problem as not sure if BDO or WDF or either where recognized by the UK as being a body that fits into the criteria they use as "acceptable" for visa applications. If I remember correctly PDC asked the BDO to work with them on Kando's, which they did.

The fact that it is taking Cadby so long from my understanding is very unusual as these things typically only take a matter of 2 months or less and 3 months at the longest to get a simple yea or nay or application is incomplete. Even shorter as you can apply for a priority service that takes less than 2 weeks. If they are still holding his passport and haven't given him an answer after all this, knowing he has been to the UK before and knowing he needs to travel to do his job especially to the UK, I am thinking they don't want him traveling as he has been flagged for some reason. And they certainly don't want him applying for another type of visa probably for the same reason he isn't getting the other visa.

If I remember correctly, there was also some sort of issue with Anderson where they rejected him at the border unexpectedly at one point - I don't know for sure, but I think he'd been trying to get in on tourist visas / visa waivers too often and they figured he was circumventing the rules and trying to be in the UK near-permanently that way. (I believe there were also rumours that he'd overstayed during one of his stints, but I have no idea how accurate that was.)

I read that if, for some reason, cadby doesn't get his visa upgraded, his current visa
still allows him 3 more months of travel this year, once he gets his passport back.

tourist visa allows 6 months, no wages, only prize money.

He's more suited to the BDO if that's all true.

They do say that the "proper" side of darts hasn't forgotten its pub roots...

that shirt is different than the dart shirt he played cross in today.
I wonder why?
also looks broad daylight in the picture for something that happened late at night?

Fucking hell I can see this going the way of those bigfoot sites. I have a picture of a Sasquatch, it is blurry as fuck but no doubt it is a Sasquatch.
Another person claims it is obvious it is a man in an ape suit. Then the real detectives employing their powers of deduction claim well it can't be a bigfoot as clearly they don't come out in the day they are nocturnal. Some other Einstein claims it is not only a bigfoot it is a bigfoot with a baby on its back.

this is going to be too funny.

Everyone after dark take your cellphones to a well lit area reenact the scene one fat git in a dart shirt, with another two dressed as ol' bill, man handling the fat git. Use your flash of course. Everyone post the results so we can have a serious scientific comparison and break this down appropriately.

In order to answer the shirt question, skweeshit assignment is to go and sweat like a pikey pig for 45 minutes. Then go hug your wife and daughter and see how they react? This just might answer the question of why the fat git changed his shirt. It certainly should take you less than six months to get an answer.
