The first 4 Challenge Tour events are this weekend.

Get to the top of the OoM and, assuming there are card holders drop-outs, you effectively have a tour card for the first 6 Players Championships, before the Challenge Tour returns on March 24th.

Maybe Finton, O'Sheep, Menzies, Hughes and Smith will play. Ratajski? Twill be interesting to see the field.

Ratty has an issue that this weekend clashes with qualifiers for the first few Euro Tours, I believe.

And if he gets behind on the Challenge Tour OoM, it fucks him out of the pro tour events completely

Judging by his Q school results, he might as well save his money

Menzies starts with a win.
Cody Harris loses first round. So he's staying in the UK and going to play the CT, as it seems.

These events are a crap shoot. Most players are so inconsistent you've not a fucking clue what'll happen.

There's no difference now between the Challenge Tour and the BDO whatever the fuck you call it. A sprinkling of good players followed by miles of wishful thinking day tripping jobber types and children.

Lurpak Atkins and Fitton are in the last 64 though?

Disappointing to see mad Cammy go out to Simon Preston. Also Rusty-Jake plays Roxy-James which is rather strange.

I've forgotten about Fitton. He is useless. The "main" Atkins doesn't participate today.

Guy who beat Harris goes out 5-1 in the last 128.

Cody will be back home by the time the next CT weekend comes around, I'd say.
