Andy Fordham merch? Talk about stuck in the past. I guess the PDC are cunts becuase they don't sell darts stuff at their events, them being full of non-darts fans.

Something I forgot about ....
Just before the Mitchell v Baetens 2nd round match channel 4 did one of there shitty promo videos where they showed Scotty dog as they put it in an Rspca shelter in a place called Millbrook Animal centre where he was highlighting the plight of dogs that need homes. Me and my wife were laughing at it as it is only about a mile or so from our house, and it is about 5 or 6 miles from lakeshite.

He was offering a signed dartboard to be raffled to people visiting the centre to get a dog
My wife said to me.. How much will they get for that ???
I joked probably enough to buy a tin of dog food.. but if he wins the tournament they might raise a bit more

An hour later Mitchell was out of the tournament in round 2

I would love to know how much they got for the board

Some other RSPCA person did a tweet about that. Our farmer posted a link to it naturally, tagging in amongst the usual favourites THE PREMIER LEAGUE. I didn't check if they retweeted, I expect they were too busy likening John Walton to Sergio Aguero that day.

The whole fucking event was excruciating. Even on the rare occasion of a half decent match the production and comms killed it

Lakeside final drew 1:13 million viewers according to Barb - http://www.barb.co.uk/viewing-data/weekly-top-30/

That's more or less in line with last year's if memory serves correctly, and slightly more than what the PDC final did on a pay channel.

In fairness, I didn't think they would break the million mark, but they did for the final, and for the semi-final on the Saturday afternoon. We'll see if they are renewed for next year. I haven't heard anything one way or another.

Semi final was only 0.9 wasn't it?

Having a close final obviously helped their cause.
