our "fall season" started tuesday. goes on for over half a year.
we are the reigning champions, having won the playoffs last season.
took on last year's regular season champs & sent them packing 10-7,
so we're off decent start.

will need a sub to shoot with us next week.
are you available cooking with sanchez?
there might be some free pizza in it for you!

Made the quarter finals of the singles tournament last night but that final leg is going to bother me for a while. Started off with back to back 140's then went to pieces! The fact he celebrated at the end means I did something right, he is a very good player.

He took out 115 in the first leg and I missed tops for 110 c/o in the 2nd (but did hit D11 to take it into a decider)

The inconsistencies are frustrating but it is also clicking for me more often and looking back where I was 12 months ago I should be proud :)

Good effort fella, glad to hear they're going well again.
I haven't picked up a dart for months now, just not interested, been far too busy doing other things :D
Interestingly , the team i was having a throw for, who are now without myself and another lad who is half decent ( he got pissed off too), are now getting spanked most weeks which is highly amusing to be honest.
Serves them right for signing on every man and his dog in the vain hope of it being successful.

Cue the resident dreamer with his normal torrent of abuse !!

Only took six months to get the trophy for this  never really seen the point in runner up trophies.

First competitive game since the above. Took out 120 T20, S10, bull. Opponent was on a finish and the 60 was sat up plum for a bedfellow.

Back to back 180s in my singles last night. 21 darts later hit double 1.

thinking about buying a set of Mission callum goffin microgrip darts. ($60)
he's ranked #158 in the year-to-date standings using these darts which is not very good.
this way I figure I'll have a built in excuse if and when I lose.
or is this just taking the easy way out?

They are not bad darts but they don't set the world on fire
