Impossible to determine. They played on different equipment.

We can decide which is better based on who impressed more in their respective era. However, given that MVG is still in the earlier stages of his career, we can't even decide that at the moment. It's possible that MVG will thrive in the upcoming years, and perform better than Taylor ever did (in terms of averages). However, it's possible that he'll fade away. Another possibility is that someone could come along and upstage MVG. The darting world could look very different in 5 years time, and a new king could be reigning, with MVG firmly in his back pocket.

This is very hard to call initially I thought Gerwen but it really would depend on the exact circumstance, if Bristow won the first few he'd totally bully Gerwen there after, remember MVG without confidence is the shit MVG we saw from 2008 til 2012. What kind of format would they be playing sets or just legs all of these things would alter the outcome. If Gerwen played Bristow and averaged 123 I can't see what Bristow can do at the same time you could say Bristow would never of let Gerwen be comfortable enough to play that well.
