Re: 2016 PDC World Championships News
I for one am glad og the darts back on the 26th as its a boring day and darts is the ideal thing.
I also think the prize money especially for the lower ranked players is a great thing, as is the prelims being extended to set play.We might get an odd stinker but overall I think in the only proper World Champs this is the way it should be.

Re: 2016 PDC World Championships News
I think most of us has moaned about the prelim format over the years and it's now been properly addressed. Darts on Boxing Day wont be too shabby either

Re: 2016 PDC World Championships News
Nice to see the problems with the very short prelim format being addressed. BO3 sets seems like a suitable format.
Also nice to see the prize pool expanding yet again for the players.
And more time and more room at the venue to watch the darts, which is nice too.
What cunts they are for doing so many nice things

Re: 2016 PDC World Championships News
I would love darts on a xmas day too if I had my way as most of xmas day, stephens day, new years eve etc are dull miserable days so more darts the better.
We could see a prelim match go 3-2, -3-2 and 3-2 and get 15 legs of pure dross, but thats the chance, as sais its a worlds and the old format of having players travel thousands of miles for a mere few legs was always an nissue

Another £250,000 on the prize fund, impossible. The bubble burst years ago we were constantly being told

at least the prelim players get to almost sit at the adult table now.
best of two sets.
hopefully the prelim winners won't have to play 2 matches the same session
or bus tables in the players lounge area anymore.

Russia gets their own qualifier.
Canada and the US both should too.

Yes, that is a very good point. But with the extra day this may well have been considered alreadyJustin Credible wrote:skweezit wrote:at least the prelim players get to almost sit at the adult table now.

Was no harm merging them as both individually had not a lot of depth.
Some might argue reyes proves otherwise, but generally its far from a hotbed of darts

I think gaz should use his famous super series pic with a new slogan. Darty waits for the pdc go bust.
