He is really outdoing himself the last few days. One in each group ffs the women's game is only just establishing some form of credibility and he wants it flushed down the toilet before it can even gather some traction by putting Laura Turner or Casey Gallgher et al lose three games each without winning a leg between them to the likes of Murnan or Alcinas live on SKY so they can die a death on there and take the women's game with them.
The breakdown of qualification places for the Worlds is ideal at the moment, even if you could guarantee that the four women would be Ashton, Sherrock, Suzuki and the next best ROTW player (Sato? Ana's a bit shit now unfortunately) and not some uber jobber, I don't see who should miss out. Even Studd's suggestion of four women in the World's is a stretch for now.
The only reliable four for a respectable standard are Ashton, Sherrock, Greaves and Suzuki. One qualifier from each the UK is almost never going to not be one of the first three so is fine.
