One West went to mow...........

DEAN WINSTANLEY, Mark Dudbridge, Joe Cullen and Daryl Gurney were amongst Friday night's 20 UK Qualifiers for the final European Tour event of 2013, the Dutch Darts Masters.

The £100,000 tournament will be held from October 25-27 at the NH Hotel Koningshof in Holland, with 64 players competing in the year's eighth European Tour event.

With the top 32 players from the One-Year Rolling ProTour Order of Merit qualifying by right, a further 20 places went to players in Friday's UK Qualifier held at the Citywest Hotel in Dublin as the start of the PDC's ten days at the venue.

Winstanley won his spot in Holland with a whitewash of Joe Murnan and a narrow 6-5 win over Ryan Harrington, while fellow Yorkshiremen Mark Lawrence and Darren Johnson also qualified.

Former World Championship finalist Mark Dudbridge dropped only three legs against Jake Patchett and Steve Grubb, while youngster Joe Cullen overcame Jim Walker and Nick Fullwell as he progressed.

Northern Irish trio Michael Mansell, Campbell Jackson and Daryl Gurney - a quarter-finalist in the German Darts Championship last month - all progressed, while PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour Order of Merit winner Ross Smith, who hit a nine-darter in the Gibraltar Darts Trophy in June, defeated John Scott and Matt Edgar as he won through.

Essex pair Michael Barnard and Paul Barham progressed, quick-throwing Steve Hine, Telford's emerging David Pallett, Northamptonshire's James Richardson, Norfolk's Andrew Gilding and Scunthorpe's Dave Ladley also qualified, while Kent's Dan Russell defeated Chris Aubrey and Darren Webster to win his European Tour debut.

The remaining places in the event will be secured at the European Qualifier and Host Nation Qualifier, to be held at the NH Hotel in Koningshof on October 24.

that 6-5 lose to fulwell could be costly for finnan, with mansell and guerney qualifying for the event and assured of picking up more money it will fuck up finnans WGP spot, unless of course he can better the lads in the floor comps
