In the bbc article it says he is looking at running events behind closed doors.
Odd he has shut down darts events that are like that.

Probably because a) foreign players now cant get to them, and b) its over 100 people.

Suspect he is looking into very small field non-ranking events for the bookies with British based players only involved.

Each player can also sign in a number of guests so the numbers rise way higher than the initial 128. Then there's officials, staff and venue staff etc which make the numbers rise higher
