Not a bad tax free second income for the length of time.
Although he had to buy blank DVDs and sort the postage out.

so he wasn't just some darts fan who wanted to help out other dart fans by providing access to some matches for a few quid.
How is that argument "but the PDC isn't providing the archives so the bootlegger is doing dart fans a service" sounding now?

Totally Stupid, as it did at the time!

How do you work that out? He enabled fans to order darts/snooker/football matches and events, when official channels didn't and don't make them available to access/buy. With the raid at his house and now his conviction and forfeiture of his master DVDs and equipment, the sports fans miss out.

The same as before. It's hardly a revelation that he was making money out of selling sports DVDs.

Was only the amount of DVD's they found, not how many he sold over the years.

The monetary amount is likely a touch shy of reality

"I was not disappointed, it was indeed the start of a truly amazing experience. I have to say I was not one little bit nervous, in fact I have been more nervous walking to the stage at Lakeside."

cdc wknd 2 event #4

the younger danny lauby over joe huffman 6-5

was a great watch. had the wow factor.

the comms crack me up. it's basically emotional grunts, moans and "did you see that?"'s instead of numbers and combos and what they need. you're own your own, kid. you do the math. we're just watching and enjoying.

The comms is utter shit. They make Nico sound like a fucking genius.

On the upside attendance is up, standard is up overall. Stream is far better quality.

Just think, if they had gotten their ducks in a row 2 years ago how far ahead of the curve they would be now.

Luke Humphries on recent events: https://www.pdc.tv/news/2019/05/17/hump ... ety-battle
"In the short-term I'm going to carry on playing because I haven't yet seen a professional to tell me otherwise," Humphries explained.

"So I'll be playing in Barnsley this weekend and then I'm seeing a hypnotherapist next week to discuss the best way forward. They will be able to tell me if they think a break would do me good or if it would be better to carry on and fight through it. My main goal is to get back to the World Championship. I'm still not where I want to be, but I've got the ball rolling with my appointment next week to try to get to the root of why I get these feelings. I wouldn't say I'm anywhere close to getting better but I'm on the right path."

I have investigated Ian White's TV record for the delight of all. Everyone keeps telling me it's shite.

In 2015, he reached a Quarter-Final at the Matchplay, Grand Prix and PC Finals. Nice run.

In the three and a half years since (27 tournaments), he's reached only one TV quarter-final. One. That genuinely is rotten. Unterbuchner matched that at the last Slam.

Here was that one occasion. Maybe it ruined him.

Poor Mase, by the time he'd finished doffing his cap, White had already busy his score!
